# DieFit Privacy Policy **Effective Date: July 26, 2026** Castle Labs respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the DieFit mobile application. ## Information Stored by DieFit DieFit does not require an account to use its core workout features. Workout selections, custom workouts, dice preferences, themes, and other app settings may be stored locally on your device so DieFit can remember your choices. This locally stored information is not transmitted to or stored on Castle Labs servers. Local information remains on your device until you reset the app, clear its data, or delete the app. ## Advertising and Google AdMob DieFit uses Google AdMob to display advertisements. The Google Mobile Ads SDK may automatically collect or process information including: * IP address, which may be used to estimate your approximate location * Device identifiers * Advertising identifiers, when permitted * Advertisements viewed and advertising interaction data * App launches, taps, and other app interaction data * Crash logs * Diagnostic and performance information Google and its advertising partners may use this information to deliver advertisements, measure advertising performance, perform analytics, prevent fraud, maintain security, diagnose technical problems, and improve advertising services. Depending on your location, device settings, age-related settings, and consent choices, AdMob may provide personalized ads, non-personalized ads, limited ads, or ads using technical delivery methods. Non-personalized or limited ads may still use device information, identifiers, or local storage for purposes such as frequency limiting, aggregated reporting, fraud prevention, and security. ## Tracking and Advertising Choices Where required, DieFit may request your permission before allowing advertising services to track your activity across apps or websites owned by other companies. You can review or change tracking permission through your device’s privacy settings: **Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking** Depending on your location, DieFit may also display a privacy or advertising-consent form. When available, you may use the privacy-options section inside DieFit to review or change your advertising choices. Declining tracking permission does not remove advertisements. It may result in advertisements that are less personalized. ## DieFit Pro and In-App Purchases DieFit may offer optional in-app purchases through Apple’s App Store, including DieFit Pro. Apple processes payments and payment credentials. Castle Labs does not receive your complete credit-card or payment-card information. DieFit may receive transaction information necessary to verify a purchase and unlock purchased features. Apple handles purchase information according to Apple’s own privacy and retention practices. ## Third-Party Processing Information collected through Google AdMob is processed by Google and, where applicable, its advertising partners according to their respective privacy policies and advertising requirements. Castle Labs does not directly control Google’s data-retention periods or all processing performed by Google’s advertising partners. Castle Labs uses third-party service providers that are expected to handle information consistently with applicable privacy and data-protection requirements. For additional information, review: * Google Privacy Policy * How Google Uses Information From Sites or Apps That Use Its Services * Apple Privacy Policy ## How Information Is Used Information associated with DieFit may be used to: * Operate and improve the app * Remember locally stored preferences * Verify purchases and unlock paid features * Display and measure advertisements * Provide appropriate advertising-consent choices * Detect fraud, abuse, and security issues * Diagnose crashes and performance problems * Maintain and improve app reliability ## Sale and Sharing of Information Castle Labs does not sell personal information in exchange for money. However, Google AdMob may process or share device identifiers, advertising information, approximate location information, and app interaction information for advertising, measurement, analytics, fraud prevention, and security purposes. Certain privacy laws may define some advertising-related data transfers as a “sale,” “sharing,” or use for targeted advertising, even when no money is exchanged directly for the information. Users may manage available advertising and tracking choices through DieFit’s privacy options, consent forms, and the privacy settings on their devices. ## Data Retention and Deletion Locally stored DieFit information remains on your device until you reset the app, clear its data, or delete DieFit. Information processed by Google AdMob is retained according to Google’s privacy and data-retention practices. Purchase information is retained by Apple according to Apple’s policies and applicable legal requirements. You may use the Castle Labs contact form to request deletion of personal information controlled directly by Castle Labs. Castle Labs cannot directly delete information controlled independently by Apple, Google, or their advertising partners. You may withdraw or change advertising consent through any privacy-options form available in DieFit and through your device’s privacy settings. ## Children’s Privacy DieFit is intended for a general audience and is not directed specifically toward children under 13. Castle Labs does not knowingly request or directly collect personal information from children under 13. If Castle Labs learns that it has directly collected personal information from a child without legally required authorization, it will take reasonable steps to delete that information. Parents or legal guardians who believe a child has provided personal information may contact Castle Labs through the contact form. ## Data Security Castle Labs takes reasonable measures designed to protect information under its control. However, no electronic storage or transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure. ## Changes to This Policy Castle Labs may update this Privacy Policy when DieFit’s features, advertising services, legal obligations, or data practices change. The updated policy will display a revised effective date.
